Update 13 May 2020:
We are very happy that we have permission to open our doors again from 11 May. However, this decision came so unexpectedly that unfortunately we cannot immediately open safely.
Below are a number of points that we are busy with so that this will be easier in practice.
By various working groups, the regulations of the sector protocol are further elaborated for all Sportfonds accommodations.
Sportfondsen has composed working groups on the following topics: start-up of pool technology, cleaning and hygiene, employee safety, communication to steakholders, swimming lessons, recreational swimming, catering, etc.
We as employees of the Sportfondsenbad are making the pool corona proof in every possible way.
Consider at least the following points:
Safety of visitors and employees
Rules for different activities, such as the rules according to RIVM.
We hope for your understanding and to welcome you back in our swimming pool as soon as possible.
Update 6 May 2020:
Last night the news came out that the pools should be open again from May 11.
Despite this good news, this still raises many questions.
The Swimming Industry will publish a protocol for the reopening of swimming pools on Friday.
This protocol must ensure that everyone can enjoy swimming in a safe and responsible manner, taking into account all guidelines and the interests of all swimmers, pool employees and swimming associations.
In anticipation of this protocol, the guidelines of the Sportfondsen Nederland and the consultation with the municipality of Delft, we will inform everyone via the social media channels and website how, when and how we open.
We would like to ask you to ask us as few questions as possible until then, so that we can put all our time into our preparation.
We take into account a phased restart of our activities.
So take into account that not all activities can be started immediately.
